Highland Wagyu Rump Steak 6-7oz - Frozen
This week we have had a delivery from the best beef producer in Scotland - Highland Wagyu.
We have taken one of our favourite cuts, rump. Fillet steak is very tender, but generally lacks depth of flavour; harder working cuts like brisket and shin have great flavour but have to be slow cooked. We think these rump steaks strike the perfect balance between rich beefy flavour and delicious tenderness.
They are full blood wagyu beef, so are exceptionally well marbled. This keeps them tender and juicy, but also gives an amazing long lasting meaty flavour and indulgent fatty "mouthfeel", which only comes with wagyu beef of this quality. Sear for a couple of minutes to your liking and rest for 6-8 minutes.
In our 'Made by EFD' section, we have some of our own flavoured butters that we think would be ideal melting over the steak as it rested.
