Made with pasteurised milk by our cheesemakers at the Cheese Cellar Dairy in Worcestershire, the creamy baton of cheese is sprinkled with edible ash to help encourage the white moonlike rind to develop – a process that involves plenty of patience and skill in the maturing rooms.

Luna has been developed to be drier and less gooey beneath the rind than our other cheeses after chefs told us they wanted a goats’ log that was easy to handle, slice and portion. There’s no compromise on flavour though. Beneath the fluffy white rind is a melt-on-the tongue texture and a world of flavour, taking in cool, creamy acidity, followed by woody, savoury notes and a pink peppercorn finish. Luna has landed
