Daiquiri - The Moor House Cocktail Co - 200ml
The Story
The winning combination of citrus, sugar and alcohol has been cited as far back as the 16th century; a medicinal ‘cocktail’ to ward off scurvy and ill health among seamen. Despite this, the Daquiri has been credited to one man: American Jennings Stockton Cox in 1828. Whilst working near the Cuban mining town of Daiquiri, Cox adapted the recipe of the local drink ‘Canchánchara’; a blend of rum, lime, honey and water. His colleague FD Pagliuchi sealed the deal on the Daiquiri name and a classic was born.
Ready to Stir
Pour into a shaker with ice and shake vigorously. Strain to a glass ‘frozen’ from the freezer. Garnish with a lime wheel or forgo garnish altogether.

Not to mention perishable ingredients such as vermouth, becoming ticking time bombs in your fridge. So we started batching. We started bottling. And eventually we started sharing.
We use only the best ingredients, batching small and often, bottling fresh and carefully; some things are best done by hand.
